Brand Identity & Advertising Campaign
OVERVIEW
TAGS Hardware is a full-service Ace independently owned hardware store located in the Porter Square Shopping Center in Cambridge, Boston. Tags is more than just the usual hardware store with a full line of regular & gourmet housewares, and specialized services & educational events.
MY ROLE
This is a college project. My goal in this project is to create a complete identity & advertising campaign. Tags Hardware aims to show the variety of merchandise they have, go way beyond any hardware store. The primary objective of this campaign is to raise awareness, increase customers, and brand recognition which will ultimately lead to increase sales and customers.
LOGO

I designed the logo with colorful icons demonstrating the variety of merchandise they have, which go way beyond any hardware store. Hitting a delicate balance between contemporary design and bold typography together with creative illustration and a unique punchy colour scheme.

ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
The concept of this campaign is to raise awareness, increase customers, and brand recognition which will ultimately lead to increase sales and customers. The campaign will focus on the people of Boston of any age and gender. Spacially those living in the local community in Somerville and Cambridge.

GUERILLA MARKETING
Flash Mob - A flash mob works because an unassuming group of street performers brazenly begins singing, dancing, or acting in a busy space, presumably out of the blue. For example, in a crowded mall dining area, one person suddenly stands on her chair and begins singing a song. She's joined by someone on the other side of the café, then another, and another until a full-fledged chorus breaks out. Perhaps they remove their coats to reveal a tee shirt with your brand on it.
